Maybe those ‘inapPropriate’ names should stay in our universe

While outer space may seem to be dominated by racist and sexist language, naming objects to reflect our quotidian lives may be a way for us to make sense of the unknown a bit easier. Naming them code names such as NGC2932 makes space a less inclusive place as jargon and numbers via a catalog are not typically things observers try to see. Perhaps doing so would indeed disenfranchise interstellar language, it also makes it less personal to an ordinary observer. Perhaps there are some things that we know of such as the Milky Way and where Earth situates thereof that makes our galaxy seem more like home.
